Introducing Nermans – Restaurant Bistro Bar


Message from Sandra & Carol from Ogilvy & Mailer: 2010 heralded the dawning of a new decade. And so, after fifteen years at Ogilvy & Mailer, we feel it is time for change and this will lead us to pastures new, although as yet, we’re not sure what these may be. During our fifteen years we have thoroughly enjoyed sharing time with you and getting to know many of you as friends as well as clients. Don’t worry, we’re not disappearing so you’ll still see us around.


We have every confidence in recommending Joakim as the perfect restaurateur to take over and we feel sure that the restaurant will go from strength to strength. Below is some information about him, although we’re sure many of you will already be acquainted with him. We do hope that you will continue to support him as you have supported us.


About Joakim

Joakim Nerman was born in Sweden and has been living in Marbella for 24 years. He is a restaurant professional, who has, during the past 18 years, acquired a wealth of experience in all aspects of the hospitality industry.


In the last 5 years he successfully ran The Restaurant at the Los Naranjos Golf Club and recently he was Operations Manager for the growing Terra Sana Restaurant Group. Now he feels that it is time to put his Swiss Hotel Management education and years of service experience to good use in his own restaurant. He and Jennifer, his wife, are very excited about taking over the reins of Ogilvy & Mailer Restaurant and making it the natural choice for all gastronomy lovers in Marbella.

  • The restaurant will be called “Nermans – restaurant bistro bar”

  • They will offer an exciting international a la carte and bistro menu

  • They are opening for dinner on the 15th of March 2010

  • Thereafter they will be open for Lunch & Dinner Tuesday - Saturday

  • They will offer traditional English Sunday roast every Sunday
